Aimi Kuhlke's Profile

I was born in Liverpool on 8th February 1981, to Viv and Norman Kuhlke, with two older sisters; Liz 8 years older and Viki 10 years older. I have vague memories of living on Dunbabin Lane in Childwall, but mostly from photographs, usually with me dressed up as a punk thanks to Viki! I went to Mosspits Primary school until I was 7 years old when we moved to Bath, where I went to Batheaston Primary school. This was a lovely little village school, that we used to walk to and from and it was very friendly. i then went on to Ralph Allen Secondary School in 1992. Where I made lots of close friends, who i still spend lots of time with now; after 16 years of knowing eachother, me and Sarah still go on holidys together and keep updated on gossip! I happily stayed there to finish my A-levels, where I did English Literature, Theatre Studies and 20th Century History.

After a year of working and earning money, I went to Chester University in 2000, where I did a Theatre Studies Degree. Again, I had a fantastic time there and made friends for life. On finishing the degree with a 2:1 (surprising since we never managed to do any studying in the pub! - typical students), I booked the trip of a lifetime and went travelling with 3 Uni. friends; Rosie, Siobhan and Rachel. We travelled to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Fiji and Australia, which was the best trip I've ever taken and have some great memories and photos that keep me giggling.

When I returned, I decided that I still wanted to perform and auditioned for the London School of Musical Theatre, was successful and started there in 2004. After a year of intensive training, I started in Showbusiness! And since then I have worked various jobs including Panto and singing abroad and am currently still auditioning, waiting for the next job!
