Gran Canaria - August 97 - Haircut

What is it about little girls, and scissors? Seems to me that all little girls between the ages of 5 and 8 years have a brief moment of madness with a pair of scissors, and my daughter is no exception.
Two days before we went to Gran Canaria our Haley did a massacre job on her fringe, you will notice that on most of the photos she is wearing a headband, we tried to tidy it up, but it was a complete mess.
The holiday was great, hot everyday and my sister and her family went to the next resort, we met up most days. The hotel was fantastic, rooms were massive, with generous bathrooms, and more importantly it had a family bar open until the early hours.
Going back to little girls discovering early hairdressing talents, I know a lady who will remain nameless went in to her bedroom one day to see her little girl attempting to curl her hair on what she thought was curling tongs. You can imagine her mothers horror when she saw that the curling tongs were actually, (how shall I put this?) a tool! Yes a D.I.Y tool. Hope I put that delicate enough.
