Went to Port Douglas during our honeymoon and spent a day snorkelling on the Reef, which was fantastic, although a little cold as it wasn't summer yet.
On the bonus side this meant it was also outside the box jellyfish season so no ridiculous 'stinger suits' like we had to wear last time we went, which made Dave look like Wile E Coyote
